I know people in Portland that were at the protests, a husband and wife with their two young sons and a woman and her 20 year old son. Not sure if some of this was reported or not as I was traveling over the last week and intentionally not paying attention to the news. To be honest, the state of this country is draining my will to live. Not a joke.  

So, some first hand accounts of what was going on. The Federal Secret Police Force was not there to restore order, protect anything, nor to help the people nor law enforcement of the city of Portland. They were there essentially only to create chaos and provoke violence. What were they doing with the people they snatched off the streets? Well, according to people on the ground there they did take some into custody and took them to locations for questioning, others, and I found this interesting, they just would drive out many miles away from the protests and dump them out of the van in the middle of nowhere saying nothing to them. 

They don't have a specific mission they are executing. They are essentially looking for ways to create confusion and intimidation as they see fit in the moment. Congress should have already launched a full investigation into this and should be examining what these "secret police" are told they are supposed to be doing, the guidelines they have been given to follow, and who exactly they answer to and is running this unconstitutional program. Honestly, it is so goddamn ignorant it is beyond belief but this has become the general rule of the day with Trump in charge. 

 A friend and I discussed this and we pretty much decided that Portland was the test city for unleashing this because both the people of Portland and the government of Portland would not know how to react and it would mostly be a one sided confrontation. 

Here's what we saw as the problem...Trump claims he wants to send these "secret police" into Chicago, Philly, and New York. That will not look like what we saw on TV in Portland. This will turn into an all out war in the streets and there will be bloodshed...probably a lot of it. The governments of these states and cities have warned Trump that his "federal troops" will be arrested and ARE NOT WANTED NOR NEEDED THERE. If they come after being specifically told to stay out these "secret police" will enter these cities as criminals and the people in these cities and states know this. You may have been able to do that in Portland but when you get to places like Chicago and Philly those people will fight back in a big bad way. It won't be good or pretty. And the truth is this is why Trump is doing it. He wants a war in the streets to distract and be able to claim these cities have devolved into total chaos...which they have not. They will though if these "troops" show up and start attempting to pull the crap they did in Portland. 

Hopefully, they do not attempt to enter these cities but I believe what Trump is going for here is blood to be shed, all hell to break loose, and you may see local police fighting with and or arresting federal storm troopers. 

He is pushing us to the brink of something terrible and there was no reason to do any of this.
