Well said on all of your points, EEE. A tragic, squandering of opportunities comes to mind with respect to Trump's handling of BLM and Covid-19. He simply lacks the focus, empathy, and smarts necessary to succeed. Real leadership sometimes requires telling your supporters things they don't want to hear and he'd never do that. When you're all about "attack, attack, attack", it's pretty much impossible to compromise on anything.
