Well, Sanders has never gone scorched earth against anyone so he would not do that here either.
However, based on what happened in Michigan, Biden won it with a commanding lead, I would say the party Democrats and the media will go all out pressuring Sanders to get out. They put everything on Michigan yesterday and kept repeating if Sanders does not win Michigan big, he's got to get out.
Basically, the party Democrats have laid it out that this entire thing is about black voters and Joe, despite the fact that he tells all sorts of idiotic lies to entice black voters, is the candidate black voters have backed.
Bernie has said he would bring in younger voters, they have not showed up to vote. He does get more votes from black voters under 45 but the over 45 black vote goes overwhelmingly to Biden...that's a done deal as far as party Democrats are concerned.
Why do older black voters prefer Biden, a guy that tells them all sorts of pandering lies about his civil rights activities and getting arrested going to see Nelson Mandela over a guy like Sanders who actually was involved in civil rights activities and is the real deal?
He was Obama's VP, though interesting to note in the 8 years he was, Obama never once mentioned or praised Joe Biden's civil right's activities. Because everybody was aware that Biden lied about those things.
Biden is going to be the Democrats candidate. It's a done deal. Bernie can hang around, they should do at least one debate between them but you are correct, after the Michigan result they will fight for that not to happen. And no matter what happened during a Biden vs Sanders debate the media and Republocrats would scream as loud as they could that Joe was amazing in the debate and Sanders tanked.
Hey, I completely want to be wrong about Biden being a weak candidate and he is better candidate than Hillary and honestly, that should be enough to beat Trump by a mile...but Trump wants to face Biden. He has stacked the deck to beat Biden. He will have Biden in the same position Hillary was in. Under investigation, a career politician, he will label him a liar and corrupt over and over and over again...and Biden does look like mentally he is slipping. Can Biden defend himself, can he counter punch with Trump? I hope so.
So, Biden vs Trump does look to have the highest potential for catastrophe. All things are in place for it to be very tight if they are the candidates.
My take for a long time has been that ANY Democrat, except Hillary Clinton, should be able to beat Trump as he is now more than ever the worst candidate that has ever run for president. So, Biden should beat him but it could be a nail biter.
Plus, I mean Biden is a real Republican so, Republicans should be able to vote for him over Trump with ease...so, there is that.
