You might see that, but I think it would only come after the fall of the party (if/when Trump or a post-impeachment successor would lose). I do think the aftermath of Trump will likely eventually push for a radical re-evaluation by conservatives, but when? Too many people seem to be emotionally invested. A friend who is a Trumper likes the idea that he seems to step up and fight where others might have acquiesced. Whether a fight is the best strategy or not seems to not matter to him. But we'll see. He's very much capable of introspection and thought.
