I think people want to hear what Pat has to say about all this stuff because Pat actually admitting he knows something is wrong would be a bit of a revelation and would be nice to hear. Problem is once you get Pat talking it's far more likely he will spew some sort of abomination about what he thinks should be done with all the "wetbacks" crossing the border.

There have been a few occasions where Pat has said something that made it seem he was aware of reality but many, many more where Pat just exhibited a complete break with anything involving the real world.

When he admitted he knew Roger Stone was a shady character that was a relief but those sort of admissions are likely not to happen with any sort of frequency. Plus our current president has done nothing but welcome the idea that facts do not matter and whatever you imagine and choose to believe is far better than actually dealing with the truth. Sadly, about 25% of the population here were thrilled that somebody has confirmed for them that their imagination matters more than facts.

Honestly, that's a weird problem to have as a country and yes, 25% of the population living in fantasyland is WAY TOO HIGH a number.

So, now our fake president has declared a fake national emergency. Frankly, this is a pretty big day in this presidency and for this country.

There should be nationwide outrage over the idea that the president of the United States is openly inventing a crisis that does not exist but I think between the 25% that will believe anything he tells them and the people that are just sick of listening to anything Trump has to say...well...this will be met with a considerable amount of indifference...and it should not be.

It will go to the courts and Trump's team will force it all the way up to the Supreme Court if it does and this will be about two things:

1. Keeping the nonsensical wall fight going because having the fight matters more to Trump and Coulter and Hannity and Limbaugh than actually building the wall. Putting the fight in the courts can likely extend the fight out until the 2020 election, which is what Trump and those nitwits want.

2. Creating more chaos in this country and further making us look bad to the rest of the world except the dictators Trump wants to align the US with. His master Putin loves this.

So, you are right, Mick, the world is watching and Trump's hand is on the chain and he desperately wants to pull it and flush democracy down the toilet.

Trump has officially become a danger to the world and if the US government fails to control his giant cash grab/robbing of the American people to steal money for his wall...well...other countries are going to recognize that as Trump being out of control and the powers that be in this country being unable to stop him.

So, yes, they have seen this show before. They know what it looks like. Right now the only winner in this is Putin. That is both disgusting and horrific.
