When all this concludes I think it is going to all end up being about money and race. Paul Krugman touched on the race part in a recent article. And I think the race part is truly a deep-seated reason why many conservatives are left ho-humming over this. The money part is easy - these greedy fuckers were doing all they could to make the most bucks the easiest ways they could. As for the race part, I truly believe there is some sort of bizarre pathological kinship to Russians because they are seen as Aryans of the purest sense. I know it sounds kind of far fetched, but there is almost a reptilian thread tying all of these people together.
