https://samharris.org/podcasts/139-sacred-profane/Just listen to the first 20 minutes or so, beginning at the 2:00 mark. After 20 minutes, even the most diehard
conservatives should have doubts about their frat boy/man. Laser-like focus combined with rationality is the
way to go, but I fear that emotions and a cult-like devotion to dear leader will win the day. At 22 minutes or so, Sam brings in Bill Maher and former Seinfeld writer, Larry Charles for a discussion of the
10th anniversary of Maher's film, Religulous, as well as politics, free speech, Trump, etc. A fun and
enlightening listen if you like Bill. Pat and Marc will hate it, others will delight in it. But really guys, listen to
Sam's brilliant and thoroughly dispassionate takedown of Kavanaugh. Glad he's usually on my side of political
arguments.Peter T.
