Yes, I am well aware that our allies have never been watching what the
United States does more closely. Trump is sending out all of the wrong
signals and the reports here are that all of our allies have already written
him off as a hopeless case and they are instead talking to other contacts in
the administration and government in hopes of riding out however long it is
that Trump holds office.
Trump working to undermine NATO at every step is exactly one of the
items on
Putin's list. Putin wants NATO destroyed, Trump is working to do just
that. Putin was furious that NATO admitted Montenegro and so Trump goes out
just after meeting with Putin and badmouths Montenegro. Coincidence? I think
not.
The tariffs Trump has imposed are bad for the United States and our
allies...however, they are exactly what Putin wanted. China immediately
slowed purchasing soy beans from the United States and began buying from
Russia...that's billions of dollars flowing out of the United States and to
Russia in that one item alone.

So, who are the tariffs good for? Americans and our allies? Absolutely
not.
Putin and Russia? You bet. This is totally upside down.
Problem is, Trump supporters have no clue about this. They are too
focused
on immigration and guns. This is how the Republican party works here.
Distract the voters to issues that are not actually issues for them while
they absolutely screw them with the policies they are truly pursuing. Nobody
is coming for their guns and immigrants are not destroying the United
States. They did the same thing with abortion for years, making it a be all
end all issue to distract voters and to demonize who they wanted to
demonize. Was abortion destroying America? Absolutely not.
Somebody like our pal Marc here would say to me that I must be in favor
of
government controlling our lives...funny, there is no bigger way to control
Americans, what they can buy, from where, and how much they pay than
imposing tariffs. This is BIG GOVERNMENT control at it's most obvious. Do
you think he gets that? Probably not. If Marc were a true conservative
Republican he would be hopping mad at this. I doubt he is because he can't
see how he is being screwed. He has his gun though.
Outside of the fact that Donald Trump's foreign relations playbook
appears
to have been directly given to him by Putin, his domestic policy is
completely geared toward screwing the American public. Trump's tax policy
and
deregulation are all about letting big business run amok and skyrocketing
our debt...and Trump does not believe in paying off debt. It is just a toy
to him.
Trump daily weakens this country, weakens our relations with allies,
while
openly acting as a PR man for Putin.
Simply put, this is a smash and grab presidency. It is designed to do as
much damage to the United States and destroy as many institutions as it can
or at the very least throw them into complete disarray with whatever amount
of time Trump has in office. Then we will surely get a Democrat elected as
president next and that poor bastard will be buried in the mess Trump made
and dishonest Republicans will blame that new president for the disaster
they and Trump created.
This is why Republicans are rushing to make their horrific tax policy
permanent because no sane person would back this as president...but Trump is
not sane...so buckle up.
