So, after writing what I did here yesterday morning and thinking I would
return later to offer more comments and thoughts on things Rudy had said
(specifically the comments about who is "disposable" and who is not)
things took yet another insane turn. Trump got a look at how bad what Rudy said on Hannity had made things and
discovered rather than people believing his new story (which may have
been the third or fourth version...hard to keep track) the media and most
people were laughing at it...not to mention the fact that legal experts
were saying what Rudy said had just deepened Donny's and Cohen's legal
issues and created even more questions they would need to answer and now
made it highly likely that Giuliani is now going to get called as a
witness because he made some truly insane statements that came from a
meeting he had with the president himself...and whatever clown car of a
legal team Trump has outside of Rudy was freaking the fuck out...well,
Trump changed direction yet again and threw Rudy under the bus. Yup, Trump now says Rudy has no idea what he was talking about and "did
not have his facts straight" as if Trump ever actually deals in facts. On
top of this Team Trump leaked all kinds of stories about how Trump
actually thinks Rudy is a senile old boob that has lost his mind. Nice. I'm guessing Rudy is thrilled he signed on for this now. So, what happened?Well, the president "hires" Giuliani to join his badly floundering legal
team. Rudy is all bluster and bravado and more importantly Donny likes
talking to him because Rudy laughs when he is supposed to and rants like
Trump, and most importantly never questions the crazy and stupid shit
Donald says. Perfect, the legal team feels Rudy is there to keep the president
distracted and give him somebody that keeps the president away from the
rest of them so he is not constantly screaming at them about why this
whole thing is not over yet. Rudy will talk shit and dumb conspiracy
theories and how they should demand that the investigation be immediately
ended for as long as he can stay awake...which according to Trump is not
long as Trump says Rudy falls asleep during conversations.Everybody knows Rudy is not on the "legal team" to provide legal
advice...no, he's a well known face and name they can send on TV to keep
the waters as muddy as possible. Rudy is telling people he is negotiating
terms of a Trump meeting with Mueller's team and "preparing" the
president for this eventual meeting...he's saying this while most people
already know that they are actually just running out the clock as much as
possible before Mueller hits them with a subpoena. Running out the clock
being the only actual strategy in play because Trump won't cooperate with
his own lawyers. The goal here is obviously to get to the midterm elections without Trump
having to talk to anybody officially and while trying to keep Trump at
somewhere around a 40 approval rating...a tenuous goal at this point. However, what the rest of Trump's team did not see coming was that Donald
and Rudy would sit down and come up with their own strategy...which with
Trump always involves some sort of insane public display...and hash out a
new set of lies about Stormy Daniels, Michael Cohen, and where the money
came from. So, Rudy and Don come up with a new bunch of garbage that Rudy is going
to go on Hannity and say...including the "bombshell" that Trump paid back
Cohen with the intent that they can't call that a campaign finance
violation anymore. Trump literally preps Rudy with what he wants him to
tell Hannity...who they know won't question any kind of stupidity they
come up with because Sean has his head so far up Trump's ass he can lick
his tonsils...something Hannity greatly enjoys. The problem is Don and Rudy never tell anybody else what they are
planning, thinking their scheme will be brilliant and they don't need the
rest of the dimwits on Team Trump to approve anything they do. Knowing that Hannity is not just Trump's primary personal cheerleader but
also one of his primary advisors, that regularly assists with coming up
with dumb crap Trump should say, it is highly likely Hannity has a hand
in this too and knows Rudy and Don intend to put on a new show to shower
Hannity viewers with a fresh new batch of watery wet shit. And they do just exactly that while Trump's legal team and White House
staff look on in horror caught completely off guard. So, Rudy quickly went from part of the team to likely witness in the
Mueller investigation and needing a lawyer of his own, in just a couple
days on the job. Emmet Flood was welcomed onto Trump's legal team with a front row seat to
watching Trump shiv yet another one of his "legal advisors" as the main
event of his first day on the job. Advice to Emmet...get out now before Trump does you too.
