I think what people need to consider is this, "the server arrangement allowed former federal employees to decide what government records to disclose, apparently without ensuring that State records were secured within the department’s own systems."

This is a crime, first. Second, shows a level of extreme deception and dishonesty. Third, needed a level of planning to achieve and execute...meaning it was given a great deal of forethought. This involved several individuals and was clearly pointed out to be inappropriate and was done anyway. Clinton has apologized for this meaning she knows what she did was wrong in a big way. The FBI does not investigate for a year using up to 150 agents and dedicate this level of resources to something that is a "minor mistake" and they do not grant immunity to somebody in a case unless there is sufficient evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

There really are only two reasons to have done this:

1. Deception. Intentionally, keeping government records and documents out of the governments hands...which they then were forced to return by the way and did in fact attempt to destroy evidence before doing so.

2. Stupidity.

Neither of these are qualities I look for in a presidential candidate.
