But of course :-) - Excellent show, that apart from the brilliant leads, is also great in its depiction of the differences and love hate jealousy relationship between our two neighboring countries. We just finished season three here. If you now have gotten used to the subtitles and our awfully sounding language, then i highly recommend you continue with Borgen (about politics northern European consensus style with a proper multiparty system), Forbrydelsen (The Killing) our first crime show hit. Steer clear of "1864", which is an abomination ;-)

If at all possible then also try to find the national treasure Matador (local name for the board game Monopoly) about the life in a provincial town from 1928-1948 - it is literally on the curriculum in our school system. Although produced in 1978-1982 it has withstood the test of time, as each time it is shown on national tv once every 8 years it regularly captures half the population in front of the telly - i kid you not...
