Pat, You are so right - being a 50 yr old man and watching twenty somethings deal with major life issues with others allows this to be seen every day. Us old fogeys simply call it losing the ability to talk to people. It's like the ever present electronics are replacing social interaction with people (and these kids will deny it until the end).
