The ban does not impact any current oil production, which comes from existing wells."Out of existing wells, this effects 30 out of 6000 odd platforms in the gulf. That will hardly destroy the oil industry. As for shallow water, no permits for 60 days - think that might be tied to the corruption cleanup at MMS?? Think they might be occupied with transition activities??Just another Republican/Corporate LIE.
