Agree, I don't think it's a horror film (at least not in the sense of the current crop of stuff like the Saw franchise), but the marketing makes it seem like as much--maybe more like the old Hammer films with Christopher Lee or Vincent Price.Thanks for the additional info, I'll try to push it harder with the better half, because there's nothing like seeing a great film with a large crowd of people who talk, text, and do anything other than watch the film...wait, I wasn't going to rant. But with tickets now running over 10 bills, parking and driving hassles, and the overall lack of civility people have in large groups these days, waiting for the DVD release (or Netflix on demand!!!) is often more attractive than catching a film on the really big screen.
