Famous Dave's was started by an injun of all things! Up on a reservation in Wisconsin, but near Minneapolis. They are purdy darned good - the hand washing sink out in the dining room is a sign that they ain't foolin around with etiquette. Pulled pork sandwich, Memphis style, and about a gallon of iced tea. Mmmmmm....

I would have to agree that the KC style is much better than the stuff in Texas. They should stick to fajitas in the Lone Star state.
