The last time the missus and I went to a theatre/cinema/movie house to see a movie was Return Of The King, in 2002… Mostly it had to do with my wife getting pissed off with the amount of noise the other patrons were making. Ever since then I have been waiting for a movie which would make a return trip to the cinema worthwhile… Sunday morning I read an interview with Sigourney Weaver about Avatar in the Sunday paper. So I think… This is it! I go onto the intawebz to book tickets. R60 each. One hundred and twenty bucks for the two of us to go, before the obligatory popcorn and machine Coke. Last time it was about fifty bucks for both of us.

Guess I’ll just be waiting for the DVD then…
