"The Red Cross has demanded urgent access to the wounded in Gaza after coming across shocking scenes of children too weak to stand, while their mother lay dead.

Pierre Wettach, the International Committee of the Red Cross's head of delegation for the area, said:

This is a shocking incident. The Israeli military must have been aware of the situation but did not assist the wounded. Neither did they make it possible for us or the Palestine Red Crescent to assist the wounded".

I don't know Gene whether the American Army would do the same, as far as I am aware they exude incompetence more than clinical efficiency. I don't want to see Israelis bombed and killed, but like Ed I think the only thing that comes out of this is a traumatised generation of Palestinian children (see above) who will seek revenge and who will keep Israeli children busy in the future as soldiers, in a world where only one lucky Iranian nuclear warhead will suffice to knock Israel into eternity (not that I want that!). I'm applying your logic btw...
