I'll go along with those arguments db - to a point. They are valid and reasonable issues that we're all currently contemplating. From my perspective, I'd say we probably were sold a bill of goods on the matter to some degree and  I don't particularly care for that aspect of it much either. But 1.) we can't be certain yet that there aren't WMD 2.) The problems that we ARE finding are horrifying. 3.) Saddam never did prove that he didn't have WMD as required by multiple UN resolutions since 1991. 4.) If I'm going to be railroaded, I'd prefer it be to effect the liberation of a nation of oppressed peoples as opposed to the concealment of a horndog president's intern induced erection.
