I read the RS piece and thought it was pretty well done. It is surprising after so many years of RS
being just god awful. Someone sent me a subscription to it--still don't know who. I don't think it
was me as I don't subscribe drunk. Or much sober either.I just watched scary creepy lime Jell-O laughing McCain on the CNN. Why am I inside on a day off
was my first thought. My second thought was he was is simply unhinged. He was speaking with
his cadaver skull head wife by his side and the two of them--you just see a world of hurt going on
inside their heads. That said, all of this optimism about an Obama win, I would love to buy in. I so would love to just
show up on 11/4, vote at the local high school and head to my job (if it's still there) and be safe in
the knowledge that Obama/Biden were going to take over in January, but it's not the case. I still
think they could lose and this would be the disaster of the two Bush wins times 1000. Time to get out, go for a walk on this lovely day in New England, be glad for the good things and if I
have any piasters in my checking account, maybe go have a beverage and some crab cakes and see
if that young Lester kid (saw him pitch a no hitter some month back) can win the day over at
Fenway.
