I don't support this bailout measure either. I figure either way, we lose.

Neither McCain, nor Obama were needed in Washington, at least not until a vote comes to the floor of the Senate.

Jump in ? Obama, nor McCain are President yet and as neither have a place on the financial commitees that are actualy hammering this thing out, what do you propose they jump in to ? ( other then to turn a crisis into a circus ? )

Where is the bailout for so many Americans who have had their entire savings and pensions stripped from them ? (Enron, for instance ) Are we to ask these people to do their fair share in rescuing Wallstreet ?

China has cut us off, what are we gonna do now ? How are we to start up more wars without China ?

McCain's grandstanding has failed. This will be his undoing. His refusal to field unvetted questions from the press is proof enough that the man is not confident enough to lead in a crisis.
