Chuck was right in that any meaningful gun reform in the US would probably require a Constitutional ammendment. Laws can be made, but rights are rights whether you agree with them or not.
I'd love to see guns off our streets where they ought not to be needed at all. But how to effectively do that and balance any rural concerns isn't as easy as it seems. Oh, and there's that pesky Bill of Rights thing.
