Well, Messy, interesting you say that...As a teen, I saw no international artists because of the Apartheid ban.In the early 90's, we were the darlings of the music world for a short while, so many of the big names (at the time) came out here, and also some not so big, but equally, sometimes more, worth seeing...For example, My choices right now are: James Blunt (Is he big in the US?) in May, to which I am not going, and in June, Counting Crows and, to my absolutely thrilled delight, Joe Jackson on his first African trip...
Now, the missus and I saw Counting Crows a few years ago, and this is the second trip for them. We loved the show, but with it being a toss up between them and Joe Jackson in a beautiful, intimate theatre, Joe's getting my hard earned cash.
