yeah it’s a panorama of lyric & guitar stars; ...bet a DBISer was there somewhere @ this Bridge School Benefit. …Wasn’t me, but I fail to see how anybody out near the Shoreline Amphitheatre could allow her or himself to miss it. The significance of these vids is (I believe) it’s the first of the Bridge School Benefits organized by Neil & Pegi Young. They had some humdingers all through the 90s…to present. Come-on (Cali), who’s been to one (played in one, lit one up), …fess up?………………….
Do you guys in the States ever sit back and realise how lucky you are to see so many amazing artists? To see just one of the people on that stage would be a trip for me....
I hear ya, sjl, but I think most of us know just exactly how fortunate we are, yet there’s that matter of the chasm between 55 bucks a good seat & 250 bucks per! The fact that it costs a couple 4-500 US dollars to sit-stand-sit-stand behind some drunk cat pissing himself & screaming, “Hey, look at me, I’m keyed up about Roger Waters!!” for 2-3 hours … has begun to get a little old. Or maybe it’s just us who are getting a little old ~~ either way, the machine, the market forces, the boorish oppression has dooped us. To the same extent that it has the African people? Why, hell no! Not on your life, brother. ...But still....
