I appreciate your taking the time to better explain your views. I see a lot of common ground. Sadly, when I hear someone describe themselves as a Christian, my antenna go up and I expect to hear the views espoused by Falwell, Robertson, and others who so frequently gain the media spotlight. I fear the Republican party caters far more to the fire and brimstone crowd than to the moderate voices that you would appear to represent. Witness the muted response from within the GOP to Pennsylvania Senator Santorum's remarks, only two Republican senators (Chaffee and Collins) had the chutzpah to publicly rebuke him. Thanks again.
