No, actually as I said it has nothing to do with his talents...or lack of...and only Punch Drunk Love got me to sit through one of his films. The only other stuff I really have seen or heard from him was his SNL stuff. I had the chance back in his SNL days to see his stand-up show for free but I passed and he was at the same party I was at after the show and I could have chatted with him but was just uninterested in doing so...so really it was nothing he did to me and I'm pretty happy that's the case. Hey, but I do like funny stupid films, I laugh my ass off at stuff like Caddyshack, Animal House, Neighbors, The Blues Brothers...I even liked that Chevy Chase flick most people hated called Deal of the Century so it's not like I won't watch something goofy and funny...I guess I just like the old stuff...I think Sean Connery was the best Bond. The first cast of SNL was the best cast. The 1970s was the best decade for film.I'm stuck in the past on a lot of stuff I guess...now I'm gonna go put on some bell bottoms and a tye dye shirt and crawl back into my hole...
