"It'll be a cold day in Hell before Osama graces Penn Ave." -Pat Brown Ha, Pat, you are a Chinese parade. This is why I feel the Republicans want to run against Clinton or Obama. I figure that the middle and southern portions of this country feel about the same as Pat. The thing people have to understand is that as Obama wins in Iowa and New Hampshire THESE ARE JUST DEMOCRATS VOTING FOR HIM! In a close general election, and it will be close, the more chance the Democrats have to get votes from the Republicans and to not drive them into a frenzy to prevent certain candidates from getting elected the better chance they have to win. This is why Edwards was/is the best hope. I don't understand why a Democrat that will pull the lever for Obama would not pull it for Edwards...it's not like they are miles apart on the issues. In all honesty I am just looking at it at this point as how do we keep the Democrats from losing. Hey, I have no problem with Obama but I do have a problem with the fact that a "cold day in Hell" shitstorm is coming if he is the Democrat. Whatever...I'm just one more guy with an opinion though. I don't see how anybody could like Mitt Romney though. Pat, what is it with you "cold day in Hell" guys having such a hard-on for such obvious bullshit artists like Mitt Romney?PS I think (and hope) McCain stomps your boy Mitt in New Hampshire today. I also hope Hillary finishes a distant third again if Obama wins. For some reason though they love Bill Clinton in New Hampshire so who knows. Still, Mitt looks like the snake in the grass...just biding his time. He's the one candidate that feels no pain losing these first two big ones and under the radar winning in Wyoming over the weekend. I still have him as the odds on favorite to be our next president...so much power lined up behind him it's a sad and frightening thing and the Democrats doing exactly as Republican strategists had hoped...it's just fucking terrible and the media dances a jig and turns up the music as the ship goes down.
