Let's get this straight:I, am placing my bets on Jesus Christ and the scripture. Period. So I'm really hoping Cy is wrong
about me, because the Pharisees were screwed according to Jesus.Further, the scripture says that:
Ro 8:22* For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Meaning as it says in Revelation, there is going to be a new heaven and a new earth. God's going
to start over.I merely presented the Senator's information because he don't believe the new religion, and makes
a pretty good case of what it's a futile effort, that is purely politically inspired.Hell, if you go to the Earth Charter site, they pretty much admit as much."In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up
with the idea that pollution, the threat of
global warming,
water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill ...
All these dangers are
caused by human intervention
and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour
that they can
be overcome. The real enemy,
then, is humanity itself."
- Club of Rome,
The First Global Revolution
(1991), page 104"...we need to get some broad based support,
to capture the public's imagination....
So we have to
offer up scary scenarios,
make simplified, dramatic statements
and make little mention of any
doubts....
Each of us has to decide what the right balance
is between being effective and being
honest."
- Stephen Schneider,
Stanford Professor of Climatology
lead Author of many IPCC reports(the polar bears are drowning, what absurd BS.)"We've got to ride the global warming issue.
Even if the theory of global warming is wrong,
we will
be doing the right thing in terms of
economic and environmental policy."
- Timothy Wirth,
fmr US
Under Sec of State,
current Head of the UN Foundation (what's it about, just what Sen. Inhofe suggested according to this fella too)“No matter if the science of global warming is all phony...
climate change provides the greatest
opportunity to
bring about justice and equality in the world.”
- Christine Stewart,
fmr Canadian
Minister of the Environment(Ohh yeah, justice and equality are brought about by fraud, yepper that's the recipe.)“The only way to get our society to truly change is to
frighten people with the possibility of a
catastrophe.”
- emeritus professor Daniel Botkin
I could go on but there ain't no sense in trying to enlighten one to the fallacies of their religious
fervor. (mine ain't fervor PK:) Mankind is not going to save the earth. Man couldn't if they wanted
to. And certainly, a UN/World Government consensus will only royally fuck the masses, while the
Stakeholders -which not a one of you here is- prosper. Unfortunately, WWIII and WWIV will break
out, what with men fighting over the resources we went into Afghanistan and Iraq for.And yeah David, the kid books are propaganda. In fact, it's indoctrination, pure and simple; for love
of the state, and conspicuous consumption: "Show those terrorists we're not pansies, go shopping".Unfortunately, so many of you, yourself included, do not recognize that I am on your side. Oh sure,
you don't share my belief system, which is fine by me, I'm all for free will, liberty of conscience,
y'know... but I am telling you the truth. Cause y'see, the cataclysm is coming regardless of all this histrionic horseshit. It cannot be avoided. Financial disaster is inevitable, why be surprised the
earth is sick to death of human stupidity. And yes, I believe the earth is a conscious being, at least
in respect to the Almighty.peaceably, and thanks for taking the time.ps Would you do that dedication again? Or would you think better of it this time? I think that was
the key detail. I immensely respect your conviction, but would have counseled against it.
