I completely agree on both accounts. JJ Johnson, everytime I have seen and heard him, is great. The
first time I heard him he was playing with Doyle Bramhall, then I seem to recall him on a DVD with
this David Baerwald guy...John Mayer has always impressed me from the first time I heard his debut CD...he can tear up a
guitar, has a great soulful voice, writes some fine tunes...and is a rarity in today's music scene. He
will go the distance, and remain an icon for a long time to come, I am sure.... Needs to work on his
dance moves, though. Maybe a few moonwalk lessons would help.
