Because left to their own devices boys would never ever dress up as girls, or vice versa. And it's not like the school is pushing this agenda, it's the Homecoming committees, etc, made up of students, that plan these events. We had the same thing when I was in high school and we had a FABULOUS time wearing pantyhose and high heels for that one day. :)

What an exercise of mountain-making out of not even a molehill. And if those Apostolics don't want their children to be "of the world", then public schools are the last place they should be. Pulling those kids was probably about 10 years too late in most cases.

I grew up around AC's and Mennonites and it always astounded me how the groups of parents wanted to bend the public school policies to their ways, rather than just starting their own damned schools.
