I know what you're saying, PK. Politics in this country is a lot like the Super Bowl. There are the football fans that watch all season, know he teams, know who has the best offense, the best defense, the best QB...then there is the much larger audience that only checks in when it's down to the last two teams in the big game. They don't have the time or interest to follow the season for months and a lot of them figure why bother when it's all gonna come down to the two teams in the end.
A lot of voters won't even bother with the primary stuff and they don't want to be bothered with it either. They would rather wait until it's down to the Republican and the Democrat and just pick from those two. I can understand that because listening to Tom Tancredo could make anybody want to blow their brains out...people elected that guy!The thing is then they will bitch about how bad the two final candidates are but when they had the chance to pick from a wider field they didn't bother...I don't know, some people think it's not even worth voting or talking politics because they feel the fix is already in...but to me that's kind of like giving up...personally I hate giving up.
