Great story Reg. I had a similar experience at "The Assassination of Jesse James...". The general temperament of the naysayers there was that a) there wasn't enough gunplay to make it a western, and therefore it was false advertising, b) the characters "talked funny", and c) it just wasn't like a "Brad Pitt" movie because it was too long and talky. Myself, I liked it and have grown to love it more as I think back to it. Will see it again on DVD.Looking forward to "No Country". I read the book a month or so ago and was captivated, and anything the Coens do is worth my 8.50 and 2 or so hours. The addition of Tommy Lee Jones and Javier Bardem (what can't this guy do??) is icing on an already well looked forward to cake.
