I have been lucky so far ...I bought a brand new top o' the line Dell machine with Dual Core and  4 gigs of ram and Vista ultimate in May and have really been enjoying it. I cant imagine going back now. I have always lived by one oath is to never replace a new OS on top of another. Its been working out great so far.  I cringe at the factor of others having problems with Vista though...sorry to hear it.

I never did have one ounce of issue with XP in the 6 years I had it though.....
