I'd be stunned if there was a God that bought into the notion of "property" or found it interesting to claim to be a "king." These are terms that describe the failings of mankind and I'm not buying any "God" that is not beyond these sad ideas.

Well, perhaps I could be described as unrepentant but I'm not joining any armies for anybody. I don't even want to be part of a bowling league or one of those shopping clubs so why would I join an "army" to fight a lunatic God on horseback that's going all Monty Python and lopping off heads. The nature of the earth is that we never die but live forever in an eternal cycle. If "wacko God on horseback" gallops by and beheads me with his mighty sword, a tree or patch of flowers will grow where I fell. No matter what I get the last laugh on a God like that. I want about as much to do with a nasty vengeful God as I do with joining the Dominionists.

Damn straight it is and I'm a brotherhood of man kinda guy and if God don't dig that and finds it foolish...plain and simple...Merry Xmas and good luck with your flock to him.

Well, as far as I'm concerned God and Satan (good and evil) live in all of us which is why some of the people I find more enlightened in this area bow and press their hands together when greeting another human being rather than in prayer. See, they are acknowledging the deity in each of us, the spark of the divine lives within us. The big secret is it is not outside of us, a place or another being, it's inside of us. If you externalize God, from my point of view, you've lost the path.

I do agree with you though that the Christian religion is being destroyed from the inside by the same people that have destroyed conservatives and the Republican party. They take advantage of these groups to use them for their own agenda.
