Thanks for that dose of Paul Weller, Reg. I always thought that his move away from the power and intelligence of The Jam to the lighter, far less compelling "lounge-soul" of The Style Council, was one of the least successful moves by a major talent.  I haven't heard a lot of Paul in the last 20 years, but Stanley Road did show a return to form.  

Here's one of my faves from The Go-Betweens: "Streets of Your Town". Check out the exquisite, multi-talented Amanda Brown, who is singing next to the late, great, Grant McLennan. Pure pop heaven!
