I saw Zen Noir in a theater with with three other people: the two I came with and another guy who was
there by himself.It's probably worth a look on DVD. It's clumsy, high-school skittish, but it works on some level... sort
of.On the other hand I can wholeheartedly recommend Dorris Dorrie's "Enlightenment Guaranteed', a very
funny and sweet movie about two brothers lost in Tokyo on their way to a buddhist monastery. One of
the best portrayals of zen on film too.
