Well, I've got nothing against Will Ferrell and I thought he did do a good job in it. The scene where he plays guitar for her was good. I didn't hate it but not much interest in ever seeing it again either. I wouldn't tell people to avoid it like Man of the Year but it was not my cup of tea.

I've seen Requiem for a Dream and it is a well made film. Darren Aronofsky is an interesting filmmaker and I loved Pi but I'm in the same ballpark as MJG on Requiem...a little too much of a bummer to watch again. I did see The Fountain, his last film, and I liked that. Shadow of the Vampire is a film I had completely forgotten for some reason (I had to go look it up on IMDB) and yeah that film was great and I laughed my ass off at a lot of it. Nice call on that! In the Realms of the Unreal has been on my must see list for a while and yeah I really want to see that one. The Devil and Daniel Johnston is another that's on my list to see. I have a bunch of documentaries I need to catch up on. The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill is another that I still have not seen. It's been many years since I saw A Face in the Crowd...great movie!
