If the IRA and PIRA were trained in the camps of Gaddafi and were recently caught with their pants down in Columbia - would you care to give me the odds of no ties between Iraq and Al Qaida if there is a blood tie between Libya, Columbia and Eire? Also, the links between the ITA and ETA are well documented. Both sets of sympathizers have supported Palestinian terrorim.

Don't forget that Saddam also sheltered Abu Nidal and funded the Palestinian homicide bombers. It's naive to think that Al Qaida is independent of all of that. None of this can be proven, but then most of the political babbling on this board is even less credible than an Abu Nidal/suicide bombers/IRA troika so I'll stick my neck out.

Going back to El Shiffa (as I often do) what is your take on that? Can you call an asprin factory a military target when your man is in the big house?
