See…this is why a net.forum is a tough nut. I thought I’d read here in a post of yours that you live in the city in an apartment, not all that bizarre a notion, not all that irregular for me to be mistaken. It’s the radio waves man. But the Hollywood hills (or whatever hill) on the morning-sun-only facing side, that’s a bugger. That’s a motherbugger. Bummer there. They make great grow lights nowadays I hear, but I’ve always had some suspicion regarding anything not grown to term under natural sunlight. Starting seeds is one thing, but…I mean I’ve tasted a supposed (hydroponic/artificial light grown) ‘apple’ (for example) that looked like a hearty apple but smelled and tasted like a well-read paperback left out in the rain. Science is always saying they can duplicate this
or that, right, but…
Maybe start something like this (on the sunny top or southern facing side of the hill. There’s gota be somebody up there with some spare ground to donate [lend] for a mere pittance of the good green nibbles & joys of the kids-community hubbub to come.) http://www.urbanharvest.org/programs/cgardens/startguide/budgeting.html ….

w0w…Thanx for posting Zeke (my grammy woulda kicked him square in the balls…& then offered to make it all better, she was immediately unapproachable that way. But likely near the end …or the beginning… she & Tim Dundon woulda hit it off as neighbors.) …The microscope eye is familiar, yep.
…People who claim to be conservatives are using stuff up faster than it can be replenished … We’re all black powder anyway, the idea is to get people to come together before that point & celebrate our differences…rather than fight over them…
In a healthier world this cat & his Kraptonite‘d be all the rage instead of outcaste.
Clever/whimsical gent. Wouldn’t suck to be his neighbor.
