Anyone who lends the faintest cover of respectability to NeoConism, or Bushism, in this day and
moment, is in the same position of someone supporting Stalinism in 1960, or the Vietnam War in
1968, or fascism in 1947-- namely, in the position of an adherent to a bankrupt and poisonous
ideal. That conversation is over. You may want to argue about that. Personally, I don't. We're facing, individually, and as a group, a perfect storm of horror. We're facing the end of oil. Climate change is approaching a tipping point. We are likely to face in our lifetimes, and certainly
in our children's lifetimes, what's known as Abrupt Climate Shift. Our economy in it's present state is unsustainable. Globalization and international loans have tied
each countries' future to a Rube Goldberg-like mechanism in which interpersonal dependency is
only matched by interpersonal competitiveness and enmity. But, if, for instance, France or Germany
is forced by some disaster or other to default on their international, the resulting domino collapse
will shatter economies from Bonn to Beirut. Our political system is teetering. We can't trust our voting machines, We can't trust our media. We
certainly can't trust our politicians.Every department, every bureau, every office, every courtroom in our Federal government is
potentially tainted with unqualified, incompetent ideologues, like Al Gonzales, Michael Brown,
Monica Goodling, Lurita Doan, Kyle Sampson... The list goes on, and on, and on, and on ,and on.
The reason I've been screaming so much about the Justice Dept scandal is not because I'm so
concerned about the careers of some lawyers. Rather, it's because I know very well what happens
to a country when its justice system is inherently corrupted. All you need to do is look at Stalin's
Russia, or at any police state over the last 50 years. We don't want tthat hereLarge corporations rule like faceless tyrants over entire regions, without accountability or the
possibility of justice.Global population is also approaching a tipping point, where inevitably, wars and conflicts will
break out over resource allocation...This is the tip of the iceberg. And it's nothing that we don't already know. I'd like to see solutions. I'd like to focus on answers. I'd like to move forward. That's not going to happen if we continue debating whether there's a problem, or whose fault it is,
or if Democrats are better than Republicans, or if Roe v Wade should be repealed, or if climate
change is happening.
Some of you on the right have complained that I'm nasty to you., that I look down on you, that I
think you're stupid. Well, guess what? You're right. I also feel sorry for you, but the truth is that
you are on the wrong side of history, and you're in the way of a survivable future, and it's long past
time for you to see that, and if you don't come to grips with the truth, then I have no patience for
you. I'm blocking you, Pat, and Dale, and Kevin G, not because I'm afraid of the power of your ideas, but
because you don't have any, your positions are bankrupt, the world has moved past you, and I'm
just not going to let you waste one more minute of my time. Jesus may love you, but I don't.Good luck to you.
