Hi all. Been away for a bit.

First up - I loaded a new track in the jukebox - Ah, My Baby from the Roxy show that was on the Wolfgangs Vault site.  The show is no longer available.  While it was available - I was able to snag the whole thing and will probably upload to the mp3 section here.

Second - per Gene's Song of the Day idea.  I don't think I want to use the jukebox for that.  I put that there as David had mentioned wanting a spot where he could post his music for us.  I'm still working on the kinks for him to upload tracks - but it should be in place soon.  A while back - we had the DBis mixtape - where I encouraged people to send me tracks and I would put them online for a limited time.  That didn't work out well as only a couple people ever sent me tracks - and not much more downloaded the ones I did put online.  Now I can see that having a streamed version would be nice - and maybe I could work a streaming bit into the mixtape.  So - it's not a terrible idea - and if I get a chance I'll try to revive it (I always was pretty proud of the mixtape logo).  But the jukebox is in place for something else.

Third - I did not program the random quote section - Pat did.  The code for that section more or less cycles through the quotes.  There are no schemes in place to censor or limit what pops up - save the fact that you must be registered to post a quote.  Keep in mind that the DBis gets a few thousand hits a day - yesterday there were over 8000 hits - so the cycling might loop around faster than you think.

And lastly - I was disappointed to see Cyanaura's decision to censor their posts.  I'm left to wonder what was said....oh well...
