What we have here is open discussion. I gather a lot of knowledge from this site. It's like a blog with no well known talking heads controlling the dialog. It's open discourse, enlightening and a relief vent all at the same time. I don't throw stuff out there with any thought that I'm going to change anyone's mind but there are really few places where you can express your own opinions without people crying "Off Topic", "Take it off list".
