Getting one's point across is not done by shaming those with differing views.

I also have been vindictive at times. And I agree, we should be able to get beyond that and discuss our differing points of view without insults. A friendly jab is one thing. But out and out attacks are a bit disconcerting and the jist of the argument gets lost.

After all, we can all learn from each other, if we give each other a chance. (Tra la)

 It really is a special thing that Dan and Pat have given us and it would be a shame to lose what we have.
