Lately I have been concerned with the demeanor of the postings here. I am not claiming moral superiority because after being insulted in a posting, I freely tossed an insult back. And while I have called those in the current adminstration demeaning names, I do not think I have openly ridiculed or cruely insulted fellow posters.

A concern I have is running DB off because we cannot post intelligent and passionate postings that encourage debate. Getting one's point across is not done by shaming those with differing views.

I hope we can lift the debate up without this continued rancor and that DB keeps coming back and offering his input. It really is a special thing that Dan and Pat have given us and it would be a shame to lose what we have.
