for me it still comes down to this, GMountain:
since, IYHO [based on your posts], you incline towards the idea that global warming is cyclical/natural, whatever, do you feel that all’s well with the fervent use of resources lives & livelihood, status quo, indefinitely…, until every river & every stream and every lake and plot of land, mountain, sacred burial mound, tree, bird of prey, every living thing under the sun, is usurped, bought-off and gated by private ownership and this land that’s your land is by invitation only…until death do you part? Or do you think there should be some level of common responsibility for the people & the lands that liberty coerced?
If yes, then since anything these “leaders” eventually “give in to”, through public-eventuality-&-the-judicial-system, is brought about (not by their own great gestures of benevolence and wisdom-born-of-heart-&-verisimilitude but) by getting fackin busted on it and taken to task, the push for reason and Earth in the Balance consideration, amongst other logic and commonsense based notions of thought and action, in lieu of manipulation of the masses for sake of big dollar lobbies as hobbies,
…is key in shaking the tree.. Yesterday may have been a hint @ a new start in a positive direction, time will tell.
If our “leaders” were actually the best people for the job instead of the richest, greediest, most self-regarding people for the job, we could rest assured…and get down to matters at home~~knowing our roads are paved, glasses half full…& borders just & certified.
But that’s just my humble run-on opine, Green….
& I’m not sure of any of it, it’s only ideas within ideas,
My publicly schooled brain overloaded too many moons ago
…by the weight of this heavy decade.
All messybeared & rapt-lyrical & spliced.
[let me guess your response: “…Huh…Messy, come again?” …So be it]
