Caught Eric Johnson on Wednesday night at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee. Awesome show - man can that guy play. For all you guitar pickers out there you probably won't see one much better, so if you get a chance go see him. The Pabst is a great old venue - opened in 1895, and it sits right on the river, about 5 blocks from the museum on the lake.

As one of the few artists that puts out less new material than our own DB, it was good news to hear that EJ is "90% done with 27 tracks" which are supposed to come out in two releases less than a year a part. I don't know who laughed more at the possibility - the crowd or Eric himself.

Tony Furtado opened, doing a solo accoustic set. He wasn't too shabby, so I may need to go catch him with his band next time they roll through the midwest.
