Believe me, I am quite familiar with Goldberg; I have watched CBS news for over 20 yrs. Not only that, I have read numerous articles and reviews about his book and am very familiar with his obvious lack of research and of his biased writing. I'm also familiar with his falling out with Dan Rather, which from Alterman's research seems to take up a very large portion of Goldberg's own book. And it is typical from your point of view how one sided you appear to be by your header and your stubborness to even look at Alterman's work. Go to a local bookdealer and thumb through Alterman's research and you will see how complete it is.
