Blockdog, the written word is tougher, but I'll probably miss
the droll cue again sometime soon, thanks for baring with me.
As to your UFO experience, I had a couple curious experiences
along those lines in my youth into my teens. Not unlike your
story some involved sleeping out with pals to view the August
showers. However, the most astounding occurred about 10. There were
many of us at a somewhat extended family cookout in semi
rural central Illinois. About dusk, we were gathered out back
on my step grandmothers patio. The patio lead out into an
extensive orchard(:boy was it great fer chasin' fireflys:).Anyhow, the patio, being out back the house was a minor
oasis of light surrounded by deepening blackness when this
big light starts coming our way from over the orchard. The
brightness increased to nearly blinding as it crept up on patio,
and finally hovered not much above the trees just off the edge
of the patio.I only remember it as this big light, no distinguishing features
like most describe. Just stopped there like it was observing
us. Then it was like awakening with a start, and the night was
filled with fireflys, as it should be.The most remarkable detail came to light years later when
opportunity and rememberance coincided and I queried many
present that night. I was the only child present and I am the
only one who recalls the incident, or at least admits it.Makes ya wonder ... respects
