I just bought it and my first impression is that it's kind of a watered down version of "Love and Theft" (which I love).

Dylan's still using great musicians, playing traditional American styles (jump blues, waltzes, even "Rollin' and Tumblin') but the new CD is missing both the humor and the apocalyptic imagery of Love and Theft.

Dylan's still great at stream of conscious writing but it feels like it needs a little shaping and editing.
