the fact that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and our actions there are undermining us still escapes too many Americans. but i was amused by Lamont's statement about 'let's bring the troops home to a hero's welcome'. yeah. we'll save some face by pretending we won while their civil war goes completely ballistic in our absence. they'll be so grateful for their liberation that they'll blow each other to pieces celebrating. huzzah!
