They were FYI's Ed. I'm a pretty eclectic fellow.

Ed, like so many people, you can't get past your assumptions of what a Christian believes. I am constantly stunned by otherwise intelligent people like yourself ,who once they know some one is a Christian, immediately insert us in to the media driven notion that all Christians are mindless right wing party line Bush boobs like Pat presents himself.

If I were going to bother with being offended by you it would be because you constantly imply I am a liar. You do that any time you disavow my own assertions and insert your assumptions. Pat didn't get my message because I wasn't presenting one. Pat doesn't get my point of view. Never has as best I can tell. Nor has he supported the Lord in the scriptural arguments I have presented. But you don't get that, lol, it's just too damn obvious I guess, lol.

I posted the interview because I thought some folks here would be interested. If you knew me you'd know that's the sort of simple kindness I practice when opportunity presents.

The homosexual piece, though still an FYI, was to illustrate every group is susceptible to mob mentality. And of course, the double standard is that it would never make the nightly news. (But neither do the juiciest portions of the parades, though I wish they were televised in full like the Rose Bowl Parade. Wouldn't that be somethin'? One day ...)

I believe the record would show that what offends you is the mere presence of my point of view. And given the fact that Pat and I are regularly lumped together despite our apparent incompatibility, I can only assume the real problem is your assumptions about Christianity.

For me the funny thing is you're incurious about this Christian not having a problem with homosexuals marrying. Or the burning of the flag, but I must be lying huh?-)

Truth be told Ed, I was offended once upon a time but cannot any longer take you serious given your insistance I am unable to accurately represent myself.

(:
